comes from Paris, where he worked for various specialist magazine publishers until becoming director of a graphic design company. He moved to the Cevennes five years ago to become co-owner of Studio B2M multimedia centre. www.studiob2m.fr

Gérard Molkhou
was born in Casablanca but was raised in Paris. He has a long standing passion for the arts of all kinds, which has continued to exist alongside his work career. He started in radio before becoming involved in web culture.When he moved to the Cevennes in 1992, he worked in various aspects of theatre production before becoming co-owner of Studio B2M multimedia centre. www.studiob2m.fr

Charles Cameron
our artisitic director is a freelance graphic and web designer. He has lived in the Cevennes for five years, from where he works for a number of clients in the UK. When he isn’t working, he enjoys cycling in the mountains, an activity he says provides his best ‘thinking time’. His other interests include issues around the environment and sustainable development in the age of climate change.

Jeanne Marshall
of American origin, lived in London most of her adult life, working in international sales and marketing before becoming and English teacher in secondary and tertiary education. Since arriving in the Cevennes five years ago, she has taught English and French, and learned to sing in Occitaine in the local choir.

Carol Cormack
having worked in London as a teacher in adult education, and as a project manager for various NGO’s, Carol came to the Cevennes about twenty years ago as a second homeowner but has lived here on a permanent basis since 1996.

Alan Deverell
was an English teacher for many years, and worked in the US before arriving in the Cevennes about fifteen years ago. Now an a Architectural Consultant, Alan advocates the use of local materials, with an emphasis on preserving original features, while adapting to modern conveniences. He is also an outdoor enthusiast who believes the Cevennes offers an excellent range of outdoor pursuits in a beautifully natural setting.

Laura Hudson
was raised in a family of serious gardeners and prize-winning vegetable growers. After finishing art college in Glasgow, she worked in London before arriving in the Cevennes three years ago. Working as a gardening consultant, and an active member of Kokopelli, she has come here to restore the land on her property to its original state and create an efficient and beautiful organic kitchen garden. Her friends keep asking her to sell her vegetables and salads but she insists on giving us seedlings to grow them ourselves.

Alison O’Gorman
was born in London but lived for 10 years in Edinburgh until moving to the Cevennes three years ago. She has spent most of the last twenty years in four-star catering management and is a qualified chef trainer and assessor. She remains a member of HCIMA, often travelling back to the UK to manage special events. She believes restaurants should be especially praised when they offer a welcoming atmosphere and good quality service in addition to well prepared and presented food.

Dominique Whitehead
was born in Zimbabwe of a French settler family, living on sugar and coffee plantations most of her childhood. She took a fine arts degree in South Africa, after which she worked in an advertising agency in the UK before starting her own award-winning coffee business. She spent several years in Switzerland before coming to the Cevennes two years ago where she is actively researching local wines and other regional specialities on offer.

Isabel Guerin
moved here from the Paris region about twenty years ago, where she was an administrator for the police, ran a tennis club and then became a teacher of Spanish. More recently she has worked as a photographer, having held several exhibitions on various themes, some of which won awards.

Cathy Justet
native of the Cevennes, studied History of Art in Aix en Provence, before returning here to work in the tourist industry. Her passion for photography is equaled by her love of nature and Patrimoine, or local culture and heritage. http://perso.orange.fr/cathy.justet

Alan Tabor
comes from and lives in London. He worked at Christie’s of London for ten years, photographing all types of fine art, before joining Spink & Son in 1989 to set up the photographic department, whereupon he produced high quality catalogues for the company’s renowned Asian Art departments.
